Nebraska Concealed Carry Permits

Legislative Bill 454 (LB454) was passed in 2006 that allowed an individual to obtain a permit to carry a Concealed Handgun.  This page contains helpful links and information for individuals interested in obtaining a permit issued by the State of Nebraska.

Individuals must take a concealed handgun course approved by the State of Nebraska to apply for a permit.  Once you have passed all of the requirements in the approved course, you may apply for your permit through the Nebraska State Patrol.  For information on the Nebraska State Patrol Concealed Carry Permits, visit their web page at:

I have been certified by the Nebraska State Patrol to instruct a Concealed Carry Course approved by the State for individuals interested in obtaining their Concealed Carry Permit.  I have an extensive background in Law Enforcement both in Colorado and Nebraska and recently retired from the McCook Police Department.  I have been shooting firearms since I was 10 years old. In 1978 my first shooting experience was with muzzle loading.  I am an expert in pistol shooting and was the first woman to receive the "Outstanding Firearms Award" at the Law Enforcement Training Center in Grand Island, Nebraska.  I hope to share not only the basic requirements for your pistol training, but also the knowledge and talent I've been blessed with throughout my life to help make you an exceptional and "SAFE" shooter as well.

My training course combines the NRA Basic Pistol Course with Nebraska Concealed Carry Laws and Regulations and will cover all individual needs from the beginning shooter to the highly experienced shooter.
